June 2022 - Meeting Summary - Part A

Hello Parents,

Tonight's forum topic was NCEA changes again. This was a quick recap of the last NCEA meeting, where the new changes were shared with us and then new information that THS had been sent/informed of. Tonight, we were able to see examples of literacy and numeracy tests and were told how they were being presented to students. Michael (Principal) gave a recap and update on NCEA generally while Penny Keats and Mr Zhao spoke to us respectively on Literacy & Numeracy. It was great to be able to see and hear how the school supports and teaches our students and how they will continue to do so with this change in testing.
